This article explains how to clean dentures with Dr Mark’s HyGenie.

• Clean dentures twice a day, morning and night. Dirty dentures collect germs and fungus.
• The HyGenie is a container with brushes inside. It cleans dentures with less handling, so they are less likely to be dropped.
• Always read the instructions that come with it.

Steps

1. Open: hold the blue bottom handle and clear body in one hand. Turn the white top handle until it clicks. Lift off the top.
2. Put the denture in with the teeth facing down.
3. Close: line up the arrows. Press down gently. Twist until it clicks and locks.
4. Hold it over a basin. Squeeze 1 to 2 big drops of DentalFresh through the holes. Add a splash of water.
5. Turn the top and bottom handles in opposite directions for 30 to 45 seconds, until foam covers the denture.
6. Rinse under gently running water while turning the handles. Keep going until the water runs clear.
7. Wear the denture, or store it in the HyGenie.

Leave dentures out at night. This rests the gums and lowers the risk of fungus and sore spots.
