This is not recommended for daily use but rather when there is an infection or significant gum issue around a tooth or implant. This is similar to how chlorhexidine mouthwash is not recommended for daily use but rather after a course of periodontal therapy, periodontal surgery or implant surgery. After your regular brushing and between clean cleaning, you may be directed to go back over high risk areas.
- Apply the gel to the inter-dental brushes.
- Insert through the affected space, or the gum around the teeth gently. Do not rinse afterwards.
Period of use: 3 to 7 days in the mornings and evening.
