Some areas are difficult to reach with a regular toothbrush, or even an interdental brush. End tuft style brushes are great to clean the back surfaces of teeth, around implants, below the gum line and other areas directed by your dental practitioner.
Having a compact tuft of bristles positioned at the right angle can make it easier for you to clean hard-to-reach areas such as the back of your last back tooth or the sides of a lone-standing tooth.
They are also fantastic for cleaning implants that support over-dentures as they make it easier to access all sides and surfaces.
Talk with your dental practitioner about whether this may be an option for you to reach tough areas in your mouth. Use your end tuft brush twice per day – morning and night.
- Place a small amount of toothpaste on the brush.
- Use the small brush head to access behind back teeth or in hard to reach places.
- These are great to use around braces where a full size brush is unable to clean effectively.
- May be used where there are slightly larger spaces between teeth and around implants, similar to interdental brushes.
